Jacqueline F. (Zabko) Beaubien, 74, of High St. passed away Monday (9-13-21) at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Turners Falls June 10, 1947, the daughter of Edward and Clara (Dzeima) Zabko.
Jackie attended local schools and graduated from Turners Falls High School the class of 1965. She went on to attend the Kay Harvey School of Cosmetology. After graduating from Kay Harvey Jackie worked for Peg’s Beauty Salon, then went on to open her own shop in Millers Falls for many years. She also attended Greenfield Community College. Jackie retired from Phoenix Mutual Life after more than 25 years where she started in the filing department and worked her way up to be Vice President of Customer Service in the Mutual Fund Department at the time of her retirement. Jackie loved to share her joy of plants and gardening, while being in her potting shed or her separate colored gardens.
She loved to travel extensively with her husband Robert “Sparky” Beaubien and had vacationed in Maine for over 30 years. Jackie loved her dogs and cats.
Besides her husband “Sparky” of 44 years Jackie leaves her daughter Kelly Burek of Bernardston, her sister Lonnie Marini and her husband Rick of Gill, her granddaughters; Victoria Kaltner. Sienna Diemand and her great grandson Charles Henry Hadfield. Jackie also leaves her nephews, Eli Marshall, James and John Fleury and a special grand niece Regan Marshall. Special thanks to her gifted caregiver Erin Scanlon.
Beside her parents Jackie was predeceased by her son William Burek and her sister Brenda Fleury.
Services will be private.
