Glenn Douglass Jubilee Obituary

Glenn Douglass Jubilee, the first-born child of the late Benjamin Douglass Jubilee, Jr. and the late Gloria Leanna Roberts Jubilee, was born in Baltimore, MD on May 28, 1954.  When Glenn was in elementary school, he and his parents moved to New Jersey. He grew up in Basking Ridge with his 2 sisters, Jane Myra, born in 1963 and the late Lisa Ann, born in 1966. As a child, he enjoyed going to school, his music lessons and sports. Highlights of his youth were going to auto races at Bridgehampton and Watkins Glen with his father and friends. Cars and automotive sports were always a favorite of Glenn’s from the slot car racing set in the basement with his dad to his recent purchase of his red Tesla.
When Glenn's mother Gloria tragically died in 1968, his family was temporarily separated, but reunited when his dad married his stepmother Irma, in 1970. Glenn graduated from Ridge High School in 1972. He spent a short time at Rutgers University studying psychology but moved on from that to follow his love of music with a group of friends to Connecticut and later Massachusetts.  Massachusetts is where Glenn spent the rest of his life. He enjoyed his life as a musician. One of the most popular bass guitar players in New England, Glenn created music with and formed lifelong bonds with many of New England’s progressive Rock and Jazz artists.
Later in life, Glenn was blessed with his wife, Rose Diana Khalsa, who he met in 2014 and married in 2017. Glenn and Rose enjoyed a life of spirituality and exciting pilgrimages all over the world, including Mexico and Peru. They moved into their home in Chesterfield, Massachusetts in 2022.
Glenn died suddenly at home on the evening of December 18th, 2024.  He is survived by his widow, Rose, her son, Bhagwan Khalsa, her daughter-in-law Jai Fuller and her children, his sister Jane Myra, brother-in-law Andrew Barbera, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, colleagues and friends. Glenn joins in eternity, his mother, father, stepmother and sister Lisa who passed away this year on August 11.
Glenn's memorial celebration is planned for the Spring around the time of his birthday. In the meantime, any expressions of condolence or respect can be sent to Rose via email at rose@polaritycenter.org .
