Georgeann M. (Croteau) Cardaropoli, 79, of Wells St. died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Montague on March 18, 1941, the daughter of Henry and Ida (Arel) Croteau. Georgeann attended local schools in Montague and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School.
She was a Machine operator at the Pro Brush Company for many years. She was then employed at Railroad Salvage.
Georgeann was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield and a member of the Women of the Moose.
Family was everything to Georgeann. She loved to hear of her grandchildren's accomplishments. She enjoyed camping, the casino, bingo and cards. She also enjoyed crocheting, wind chimes and bowling.
Among her survivors, Georgeann leaves, three children, David Cardaropoli, Jr. and his wife Julie, Henry Cardaropoli and his fiance' Angel Fifield and Kim Williams and her wife Melissa, all of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler and Courtney Wilkinson, Dakota Cardaropoli and Robert Williams V; and a sister Patricia "Trish" Miller and her husband Stanley of Bernardston.
Georgeann was predeceased by her husband, David Cardaropoli, Sr., and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 1/30/21 at 10am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
