George Charles Vivier, 53, formerly of Turners Falls, died Sunday 11/21/21. He was born in Greenfield on January 14, 1968, the son of George Z. and Jean (Leete) Vivier.
George was employed in the dish room in the Dining Commons at Amherst College.
Since George was young, he participated in many Special Olympic sports including track and field, bocci and his favorite, bowling. He loved collecting T-Shirts, listening to classic rock music, WWE and shopping at the mall.
Among his survivors, George leaves a sister, Gail Dubreuil and her husband Kevin; nieces, Brainna Stetson and her husband Dan, Kayla Sigourney and her husband Doug and Emily Dubreuil; a nephew, Jakob Dubreuil; and great nieces and nephews, Bradlee and Henry Sigourney and Carson and Lilah Stetson.
George was predeceased by his father, George Z. Vivier; his mother, Jean (Brozo) (Vivier) Leete; and his step father, Harold “Bucky” Leete.
A graveside service will be held Thursday 12/9/21 at 10:30am at the Springdale Cemetery in Turners Falls.
