Ellen Mae Destromp, 55, of Chapman St. passed away Tuesday April 15, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Greenfield on December 27, 1969, the daughter of Edward and Dora (Williams) Benedict. 
Ellen attended local schools and graduated from Franklin County Tech School class of 1988. She excelled in Customer Service having worked for several local businesses. Previously she had been a CNA/LNA at local nursing homes for several years. Ellen enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, card playing, but mostly loved spending time with her family.
Ellen leaves her husband Brian Destromp, her children; Tabitha Houle, Elizabeth Francour, Shelby Pike, Timothy Pike Jr., Kathleen Destromp, Timothy Destromp, Melissa Destromp and Brian Destromp Jr. She also leaves her Grandchildren; Andrew Haskins Jr., Christopher Pike, Jonathan Destromp, Kearan Destromp, McKinley Castor, Isabelle Castor, Christopher Francour Jr., and Jose Tapia Jr. Ellen is also survived by her twin sister Helen Benedict. Beside her parents, Ellen was predeceased by her daughter Cathy, her granddaughter April and her late husband Timothy.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday May 12, 2025, at 11 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 220 Federal St. Greenfield. Burial will follow in Green River Cemetery.
