Elaine N. (Aldrich) Johnson, 96, formerly of Turners Falls, passed peacefully at her home in Reno, NV, on May 17, 2024.  She was born in Erving, MA on September 28, 1927, the daughter of Jesse and Maude (Jennison) Aldrich.

Elaine attended schools in Turners Falls and graduated from Turners Falls High School in 1945.  She was employed by Esleeck Manufacturing Company for many years.

Among her survivors, Elaine leaves three daughters, Fay Hartpence and LTC Suzanne Johnson of Reno, NV, and Lynn Cade and her husband Joe of Bridgewater, NH.  She also leaves a brother Fred Aldrich of Texas in addition to two grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her husband of43 years, Walter Johnson, and her siblings, Mildred Lacoy, Marion Parent, Edmund, Leonard, and Jesse Aldrich, and her granddaughter Karyn Giles.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31 at 1 pm at Springdale Cemetery in Turners Falls.
