Dorothy L. (Abbott) Antinarella

Dorothy L. (Abbott) Antinarella, 94, formerly of Bernardston and Turners Falls passed away Wednesday (11-17-21) at Buckley Health Care Center. She was born September 25, 1927 in Seymour, CT the daughter of Harold and Minna (Lossin) Abbott.

Dot was a homemaker and she loved to cook and bake for her family, especially Famous Amos cookies and muffin tops.  Her many grand and great grandchildren loved to visit Grammy A. / Nonni She was an avid reader and established a community library for her Bernardston neighbors.  Her engaging smile touched many people, especially the Bernardston FD who rescued her on numerous occasions also many thanks to her care givers over the years.

She leaves her children Robert and his wife, Donna, of Tavares, Fl., Joni Currie and her husband, Todd, of Turners Falls, Barbara Carme and her husband, Chris, of Sarasota, Fl, and Rosemary Antinarella and her husband, David Nordstrom, of Greenfield along with 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. 

Dot was predeceased by her husband Joseph, May 13, 2002.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 22 from 12-2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM at Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square in Turners Falls.  Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.
