David H. Olson

David H. Olson, 65, of Canal Street died Monday, August 3, 2020 at home.  He was born in Holden, MA on June 23, 1955, the son of William and Ruth (Sheehan) Olson.

He worked for White Mountain Cable and Mohawk Plastics for many years.

David was a lover of books, music, and poetry. He enjoyed making people laugh and laughing with them.  He enjoyed spending summer holidays with his family and friends at Sunshine Park.  He enjoyed playing Cribbage and watching Jeopardy.  He will be greatly missed by his neighbors at the Keith Apartments and by many friends.

Among his survivors, David leaves a son, Sean Olson of Plainfield, MA; a step son, Jason Martin of Hawley, MA; ten siblings, Fred Olson (Brenda) of Millers Falls, George Olson (Janet Dobias) of Gill, Michael Olson (Diane) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gail Olson of Phoenix, AZ, Catherine Olson of Gill, Margaret Sumner (Ray Benninghoff) of Culver, IN; Barbara Olson Concord, NH, Mabel Dumas (Mike) of New York, Donna Muller (Michael) of Greenfield and Denise Milkey (Brian) of Montague City.  David also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, David was predeceased by three siblings, Robert Olson, Betsy Olson and Donald Olson.

Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
