Constance J. Haigis, 88, died Thursday 9/29/22 at the Tissues Country Estates in Athens, ME. She was born in Greenfield, MA on December 30, 1933, the daughter of George and Blanche (Bouchard) Duffney.
Constance was an insurance processor for the Phoenix Mutual Company in Greenfield for many years before her retirement.
Constance loved to travel and shop. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Among her survivors, Constance leaves a son, Frederick Haigis and his wife Betsy of Jackman, ME; a son in law, Dan Buckner of Browns Mills, NJ; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Constance was predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman Haigis; her daughter, Linda Buckner; a brother, Bill Duffney and three sisters, Olive, Phyllis and Pat; and a great grandson, Maddox.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10/5 at 9:15am from the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh Street, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 4-6pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.
