Cheryl A. (Aiston) Frederick

Cheryl A. (Aiston) Frederick, 75, of Beech Street died Sunday 10/1/23 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield with her son Danny by her side. She was born in Greenfield on August 30, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Margaret “Pat” Aiston.  Cheryl attended local schools in Greenfield and was graduate of Greenfield High School Class of 1966.
Cheryl managed the cafeteria at the Greenfield Middle School for many years before her retirement.
 
She enjoyed collecting angel figurines, spending time with her beloved cat Mandy, and as she would put it, buying a bunch of stuff she doesn’t need at the store. 

Among his survivors, Cheryl leaves two sons, Danny Frederick of Greenfield and Donny Frederick of Buckland; a brother, Danny Aiston of Gill; and a niece, Jackie Aiston, as well as a nephew Garrett.
Cheryl was predeceased by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Frederick on May 18, 2004; her father, Harold Aiston, her mother, Margaret “Pat” Aiston and her stepfather, Donald Sevene.
Calling hours will be held Monday 10/16 from 5-7pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
There will be no normal funeral services.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA02115.
