Charles A. Streeter, Sr.

Charles A. Streeter, Sr., 89, of Wisdom Way died Monday 11/15/2021 at home.  He was born in Greenfield on November 23, 1931, the son of Irene (King) Streeter and Francis Streeter.  Charles attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School. 

Charles served in the United States Air Force, stationed in France, during the Korean war.

He was a supervisor at the Greenfield Tap & Die for 43 years before his retirement in 1991.

Among his survivors, Charles leaves a son, Charles Streeter, Jr. of Greenfield; two daughters, Donna Callen of Watertown, MA and Deborah Gale of Hinsdale, NH; a brother, Alton Streeter and his wife Ann of Bernardston; a sister in law, Patricia Miller and her husband Stanley of Bernardston; twelve grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren (all of whom, he has held in his hands).

Besides his mother, Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian Streeter in 1990 and an infant son, Joseph. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday 11/20 at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield. 

A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 10am until the time of the service.
