Carolyn M. (Ruddock) Lewandowski, 86, of Newton Street died Friday 7/5/24 at the Center for Extended Care at Amherst. She was born in Greenfield on June 2, 1938, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Rurak) Ruddock.  Carolyn attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School Class of 1956.  She continued her education at the Northampton Commercial College.  
Carolyn was the office administrator for the Physical Plant office at Deerfield Academy for twenty-five years before her retirement. 
She was crafty and loved crocheting, needlepoint and ceramics.  Carolyn enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises with her husband, and friends.  Carolyn was an avid Red Sox fan, traveling for many years to Florida for spring training. She enjoyed Polka dancing and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. 
Besides her beloved husband of sixty four years, Stanley Lewandowski, Carolyn leaves a son, Stanley Jr. and his wife, their three children and a great grandson of Shelburne, a son, David of Colrain and his children Katelyn and her husband Ryan and their children Brody, Avery and Maverick , Kelci and Keira, and a daughter, Patty and her husband Gerry and their children Laina and Curtis of Quincy, MA; a brother, Harry Ruddock, Jr. and his wife Mary of Deerfield; and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held Thursday 7/11 at 12noon at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.  A burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Greenfield. 
Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
