Bryan Mark Cadran, 60, of Millers Falls, MA passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2022. Bryan was born in Montage, MA on October 18, 1961.
He is survived by his sisters Cheri Angelo (Cadran) of New Jersey, Candice Cadran and her husband Michael Eschenbach of Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and brother Ovide T. Cadran and his husband Jae Fradette of Windsor Locks, CT, as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Ovide J. Cadran of Turners Falls and Gabriella Minott (Pinter) of Florida.
Bryan grew up in Montague City and had many friends in the community. Many people knew him by his nickname "Rocky," which he earned one winter afternoon playing ice hockey on a local pond. He attended Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls, MA graduating in 1979 and lived in Vermont for ten years working at local businesses and cooperatives there. He also lived in New Hampshire before returning to his roots in Western Massachusetts where he became a skilled carpenter, sheet-rocker and painter working for many contractors over the years in the local area.
He loved the music of the 1970s and could often be heard singing the lyrics by one of his favorite bands. He had a really great sense of humor and enjoyed jokes, comedy movies and shows and fishing, especially along the Saw Mill River.
Later Bryan cared for his elderly father for several years before his death, and had the chance to develop a stronger bond between father and son, which was very important to him.
A private service will be held for family members on April 29, 2022, at Kostanski Funeral Home in Turners Falls.
