Beverly A. (Palmisano) Suchanek, 80, of Harrison Ave. passed away Friday November 1, 2024, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.  She was born in Northampton January 29, 1944, the daughter of the late John Palmisano and Wanda J. (Rybecki) Klys.  Beverly attended local schools. In the early 70’s Beverly became a cosmetologist having worked at Walters Beauty Salon before owning her own salon, Hair Trends on Chapman Street for over 26 years. Finishing out her career at Wilson’s Beauty Salon.
She leaves her husband Richard Suchanek, Sr of 41 years. Her children; William W. Melnik Jr., (Angel) of Amherst, NH and Kimberly A. Melnik (Michael LaRiviere) of Florence. Five grandchildren Ashley, Christian, Taylor, Blake and Thomas. She also leaves behind 2 stepchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister, Linda J. Mazeski.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 6, 2024 at 11 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St., Greenfield. Burial will follow in Green River Cemetery. 
A calling hour will be from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
