Bernice A. (Howard) Glazier

Bernice A. (Howard) Glazier, 94, of North Leverett Road died Saturday 3/13/2021 at home. She was born on November 25, 1926, Thanksgiving Day, at the family home in Leverett, the daughter of Ethan and Eva (Glazier) Howard. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Amherst High School Class of 1946. In November 1948 she married Warren B. Glazier and became a homemaker and mother. Warren predeceased her in 2005. She was a lifelong member of the North Leverett Baptist Church.
Among her survivors, Bernice leaves a daughter, Diane Overstreet of Greenfield; two sons, Peter Glazier and Dana Glazier, both of Leverett; two grandchildren, Melissa Stetson and her husband Marcus of Bernardston and Jason Overstreet and his wife Sudi-Laura of Pittsboro, NC; one great grandson, Isaac Overstreet; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her thirteen siblings.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be held in the spring at Plainview Cemetery in Leverett.
