Anita A. (Morin) Bergeron

Anita A (Morin) Bergeron, 96, of Greenfield, died April 15,2023 at home. Born in Easthampton on April 8, 1927, she was the daughter of Patrick and Geneva (Caron) Morin.  A 1946 graduate of Turners Falls High School, she was a Turners Falls resident for most of her life. 
Survivors include sons Robert B. Bergeron of Colrain and Thomas M. Bergeron and his wife Deborah of Gill, 4 grandsons: Adam Bergeron and his partner Amanda Lane  of Heath, MA, Casey Bergeron of South Hadley, MA, Brandon Bergeron and his wife Alexis of Concord, VA, Colby Bergeron and his wife Nelly Czajkowski of Malden, MA; Derrick Rawson and his wife Alexa of Greenfield, MA, Brandon Rawson and his partner Kyrsten Baltzer of Greenfield, MA and Brittany Rawson of Erving, MA. She also leaves 12 great grandchildren: Kaylee, Gabrielle, Addison, McKinley, Isaac, Connor, Nolan, Charlotte, Henri, Emma, Makenna and Josephine
She is survived by her sister Teresa Morin of Ware, MA. She was predeceased by her first infant grandchild, Christopher R., Son of Robert, on June 6, 1978, her husband Robert D. Bergeron on May 13, 1997, her sister Dorothy Davis on March 16, 2010 and her daughter-in-law Denise (Dee Dee) Bergeron, April 1, 2014. 
Graveside services for Anita will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Turners Falls, MA.  At Anita’s request, calling hours have been omitted.  Arrangements are under the direction of Kostanski’s Funeral Home in Turners Falls, MA.
