Alvena M. Gifford, 69, passed away Thursday May 9, 2024 at Regal Care. She was born August 21, 1954 in Greenfield the daughter of Adrien and Doris (Pratt) Gifford.

Alvena enjoyed life to the fullest. She liked Disney Characters and enjoyed going to Disney on Ice, Hampton Beach, flowers, balloons and horses. She loved Holidays and decorating for them. Alvena also participated in the Special Olympics having won many awards.

She leaves her mother Doris Cutting of Athol, her siblings; Samuel Gifford of Wendell, Doris Hutchingson of Athol, Michael Gifford of Wendell, Rita Sheyda of VA., John Gifford of Orange, Suzanne Sinclair of Athol, Adrian Friebel of NY, Timothy Gifford of NY, Kathleen Nicoletti of Athol, Raymond Gifford of NY and many nieces and nephews.                                         

A Memorial Liturgy of Chrisian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2024, at 10AM at Blessed Trinity Parish/Blessed Sacrament Church 221 Federal St. Greenfield. Burial in Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls will be at the convenience of her family.
