Agnes E. Weston

Greenfield-----Agnes E. Weston, 82, of Adams Rd. passed away Friday (6-22-18) at home after a long battle with cardiac complications.

She was born in Great Barrington, MA on July 11,1935 the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Chaplin) Weston.

Agnes attended Greenfield Schools and was a graduate of Greenfield High School. She furthered he education at Mansfield Beauty Academy in Springfield.

She most recently worked as a receptionist at the Arbors until April of this year when her health rapidly deteriorated. Agnes volunteered at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center gift shop as the jewelry purchaser for 20 years.  Previously she had also worked at Buckley Health Care Center as a beautician for 20 years and at CVS as an associate.

Agnes leaves her children: Marie Clark whom lived with her, Jolene (Jeffery) Glabach of Leyden, Robert Mayers and his lady friend Bonita of Lyndonville, VT and Terri Davis (Nick) of Turners Falls. Agnes had five grandchildren; Brian Seaman, Eric (Kristin) Seaman all of Bernardston, Blair Thoma of Greenfield, Ashlei Doel of Turners Falls and Miaya Glabach of Grainesville, FL, 6 great grandchildren; Caleb, Logan, Tucker and Aspen Seaman, Lydia Mac-Munn Seaman, Aza Thompson and one due in October.

She also leaves her closest cousin Shirley Dodge of Claremont, FL who was like a sister to her as well as many other cousins and many close friends; Chuck Volpe, Jean Foster, Ruth Mann, Donna Stone and Sue Smith.

The family would like to thank Amanda Studley of Victory Health Care for her care over the past two years. In addition, she leaves her dog Hershey who she fondly referred to as her “boyfriend”.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 220 Federal St. Greenfield. Burial will follow in Howland Cemetery in Conway. There are no calling hours.
