Thomas J. Morin

Erving- Thomas J. Morin, 57, of Forest Street died Sunday 2/25/18 at home.  He was born in Springfield on June 23, 1960, the son of George and Marie (LaPlante) Morin.

Tom worked at his Father's cafeteria in the former Moore Drop Forge and was a construction laborer.

Tom loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who spent countless hours fishing. He was an animal lover and he was always offering a helping hand to anyone.

Among his survivors, Tom leaves a brother, George Morin and his wife Gail of Feeding Hills; a sister, Debra Smith and her husband Richard of Longmeadow; two nephews, Christopher Roach of Longmeadow and David Morin of Feeding Hills; his longtime girlfriend, Carol Rice of Erving, her daughter, Diana Canedy and her husband Bruce of Greenfield and their children, Savien, Trevon and Damon. Tom also leaves behind his beloved "Cat".
 

Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
