Greenfield- Steven A. Fisher, 47, died Wednesday 2/14/18 at the Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, CT. He was born on November 15, 1970 in Greenfield, the son of Calvin and Earla (Williams) Fisher.
Steven had many odd jobs and most recently he worked as a painter, a jack of all trades.
He was a very big and kind hearted man who enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved old westerns and cartoons. He was always one to reminisce about his younger years of growing up in Lake Pleasant and all the adventures he had with his kids.
Among his survivors, Steven leaves a daughter, Kali Stafford; two sons, Gregory and Nicholas Fisher, all of Turners Falls; his mother, Earla Fisher of Lake Pleasant; two brothers, Ronnie Fisher of Millers Falls and Kevin Fisher of Wilmington, VT; three sisters, Cindy Fisher of Colrain, Darlene Valliere and her husband Mike of Lake Pleasant and Bonnie Eddy and her husband Bob of Turners Falls; a grandson, Jayce Fisher; his life partner, Rebekah Atwood of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Steven was predeceased by his father, Calvin Fisher, Sr., and two brothers, Calvin Fisher, Jr., and Peter Fisher, Sr.
There will be no formal funeral services.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday 2/20 from 1-3pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. A celebration of life will be held after at the Scalpers Lodge in Lake Pleasant.
Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery in Leverett in the spring.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
