Greenfield-----Robert J. Bukowski, 86, of Overland Rd. passed away Thursday (5-11-17) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

He was born February 26, 1931 in Greenfield the son of John and Mary (Sadlowski) Bukowski.  Bob attended Greenfield schools and was a graduate of Greenfield High School class of 1949.

He was owner and operator of Bukowski Plumbing for many years.

Bob was very active in the community. He volunteered at Hatches Patch, the Boy Scouts Troop 2 wilderness camping program. He was a member of the Y Men’s Club and member of the former White Eagles and Thaddeus Kosciuszko Societies.

Bob leaves his wife of 65 years the former Ann Marie Bailey, a son Paul and his wife Sheila all of Greenfield, a granddaughter Angela Thorpe and her husband Steve and two great grandchildren of Gill, a brother Richard of Bernardston and extended family Edwina and Kei from Hong Kong who were like his own children and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sons; Mark in 1974 and John in 1978 and a brother Paulin in 2014.      .

 A graveside service will be held Friday (8-11-17) at Calvary Cemetery at 11 AM with Rev Jeff Gailbraith officiating. There are no calling hours.
