Dear Dan and Kathy,
I am sorry that I just found this today as I was researching family. I don't know if this is too late for you to see this. I hope not. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I have fond memories of you all, especially times at Hampton Beach.
Sincerely,
Karen

I just heard the sad news of Father Peters passing . He was a very special man my husband converted to Catholic 34 years ago and we quickly became very good friends . We were expecting our son at the time which Fr Peter later baptized Brendon Michael Peter informing me there was another certificate if I wanted the Peter removed I told him I was honored that our son had his name . And three years ago he
then again was called to our family to welcome my husband home to the Lord I would have no one else but Fr Peter . The world lost a very special man of the Lord and all who he touched was oh so blessed. May his family take comfort in knowing how many he touched.

I will always remember our great talks and Rev. Peter's humor that highlighted more than 20 years of friendship, and of course it was a friendship begun by one of his many unexpected good deeds. Thank you P-III. -JR

Father Sullivan,

You will always be remembered for your wry sense of humor and your kind soul. We will miss you greatly, but know that you are in a better place. Thank you for being such a special part of our lives.
We know you'll still be sitting in your favorite seat at the Fountain on Friday nights.

Heaven is a much brighter place, and filled with laughter, as Father Peter J Sullivan is getting his room ready, just the way he likes it. I'm sure our dear Lord is ready to help with a few suggestions.

I want to convey my condolences to Father Sullivan's Family on behalf of my parents, Clara & Stanley Watrobski and my six siblings. Father Sullivan was such a comfort and support to us all. What I hold most dear are the remembrance cards he sent to our family on the anniversary of my brother's passing in 1984. My mother received such comfort from those cards. He also came to visit my mom during her last stay at the hospital before she passed away in March and was with us at the nursing home to tell my father that mom had passed away. Such a treasure he was to our family. He was beloved to us all. May God hold you in His care during this season of bereavement. God Bless you all.

Rev. Peter III married my wife and I 12 years ago ( June 26, 2015) in Troy NY on the hottest day of the century in a chapel at Emma Willard School with no air conditioning.

I will ALWAYS remember his kindness towards us, his genuine interest in us and our life together. He and I bonded immediately as Boston Redsox fans- and he had a great and engaging sense of humor that I will miss.

It is probably most rare that a couple keeps in touch with the priest who married them- but for the last 11 years- we had done jut that- exchanging Christmas Cards, having an occasional lunch together.

He also sent an anniversary card each year. In fact we noticed we had not received one from him this year- and thought it odd until we heard the sad news that he died one day before our anniversary.

He was a great human being and wonderful priest. My and I are very grateful that our paths crossed with his in life and he will hold a very special place in our hearts forever.

Our deepest sympathy to the Sullivan family.
