Raymond,

Another good man leaves us.
My fondest memories of Gump were at the T.F. Athletic Club calm-bakes at the T.F. Rod & Gun Club. I worked those bakes for many years. Gump was one of the "whips" along with Trip Treml.
We had a few cold-ones as we worked. Gump "gently" encouraged the to crews to get the work done. When the tasks were completed, we'd settling in for a few more cold ones, and some funny stories were shared.
Additionally, I'd run into him on Sunday mornings at Food City. He'd buy his lottery tickets and we'd share a few words.
Ray, your dad was a good man . . . he'll be missed.

So sorry for your loss. It will just not be the same to not see him at the Apprentice Restaurant and at St. Kaz for shuffleboard. He was a wonderful man!

So very sorry to hear of Gump's passing. Being the last member of the older Schuetz group an era has ended. Brian and I will not be back from the Southwest until Tuesday. We are sorry to miss services. Our condolences to all.
