Turners Falls- Michael H. Scott, 53, of G Street died Sunday 1/7/18 at the Elaine Center at Hadley.  He was born in Rock Island, IL on December 2, 1964, the son of Sammie and Sonnya (Thomas) Peters.  Mike was a graduate of the Franklin County Technical School in 1982, specializing in electrics.

Mike enjoyed electronics, especially computers and computer games.  He loved horror movies and fishing. 

Besides his wife of 30 years, Lena (Williams) Scott, Mike leaves his mother, Sonnya Peters of Turners Falls; three brothers, Samuel Scott of Davenport,IA, Gregory Scott and his wife Janice of Fairburn, GA and Rodney Scott and his wife Kathryn of Turners Falls; two sisters, Brenda Kology and her husband Jeff of Stafford Springs, CT and Corrinne Peters of Turners Falls; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

Mike was predeceased by his father, Sammie Scott in 2003 and his stepfather "Dad", Walter Peters, in 2001. 

A celebration of life will be held Thursday 1/11 at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.    Burial will be at the convenience of the family. 

There will be no calling hours.
