Turners Falls----Karen P. James, 62, of N St. passed away Saturday (3-25-17)at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. She was born Feb. 14, 1955 in Greenfield the daughter of Jesse and Vicki (Dean) James. Karen attended Greenfield, Three Rivers Schools and went on to graduate from Turners Falls High School.

She was a dental hygienist at Greenfield Dental for several years, a job she truly enjoyed. Her children had the cleanest teeth in town. She enjoyed traveling to Florida as much as she could. Karen was an avid reader, reading most of her free time. She also loved Elvis, and is being serenaded in heaven as we speak!

  Karen will be missed infinitely by her mother Vicki of Turners Falls. She also leaves her daughter Nicole Parker and her husband Mike of Ludlow, her sons Daniel Coyer of Chicopee,  Justin Coyer of Cape Cod, and four grandchildren; Jessica, Olivia, Rhea and Jazlyn. She also leaves her brother Rick James and his wife Carole of Gill, her sister Kim Caron of Turners Falls, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves two step brothers Todd and Chad, and a step sister Tami.

Karen was predeceased by her father Jesse, a nephew Tristan Molongoski and a brother in law Greg Caron.

Funeral services will be held Friday 3-31-17 at 12 noon at Kostanski Funeral Home 1 Kostanski Square. A calling hour will from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
