Turners Falls- John Wesolowski, Jr., 76, died Sunday 6/3/18 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. He was born in Greenfield on May 23, 1942, the son of John and Helen (Becklo) Wesolowski, Sr. John attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School Class of 1961. He continued his education, graduating from Greenfield Community College in 1964.
John was owner and operator of In & Out Maintenance Service for fifteen years until his retirement in 1991. He was a resident of Greenfield prior to moving to Turners Falls in 1993.
John was past exalted ruler of the Montague Lodge of Elks, a member and the District State Vice President of the Greenfield Jaycees, a past Trustee at the Greenfield Public Library, an associate member of the St. Kaziemerz Society and past President of the Greenfield Senior Babe Ruth League.
Among his survivors, John leaves his beloved partner of twenty one years, Christine Sumner, of Turners Falls; a daughter, Johanna Bourgeios; a sister, Diane Tabor; one grandson, two granddaughters, a great grandson; three nieces; and several cousins.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 6/7 at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh Street, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Greenfield.
A calling hour will be held Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
