JoAnn (Croteau) Olney, 60, of Federal Street died Wednesday 12/12/18 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Montague on July 9, 1958, the daughter of Phillip and MaryAnn (Mosca) Croteau. JoAnn attended local schools in Turners Falls and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School Class of 1976.
JoAnn was a bartender at the St. Stanislaus Society in Turners Falls for fourteen years.
She loved baking, cooking, reading, and she had a passion for music. She also loved spending time with family, especially her grandson Brendon.
Among her survivors, JoAnn leaves two daughters, Amanda Olney of Millers Falls and Amber Onley of Greenfield; her father, Phillip Croteau; a grandson, Brendon Clough of Greenfield; three brothers, Ronald Croteau and his wife Jeanne of Greenfield, Michael Croteau of Turners Falls and Kenny Croteau and his wife Tracy of Erving; her boyfriend, Robert Martin of Millers Falls; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Thursday 12/27 at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be a calling hour Thursday morning from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
