Greenfield- Jean M. (Roy) LaCoy, 83, of 75B Wells Street, Greenfield, MA, passed away peacefully at Charlene Manor in Greenfield.  She was born in Holyoke, MA on March 29th, 1934.  The daughter of the late Gaston W. and Aldegonde (Martinbeault) Roy.  She attended school in Holyoke, and moved to Greenfield in 1957. She was a former employee of Greenfield Paper Box Co.  She was an avid bowler, and loved quilting, traveling, bingo, and playing cards with her Millhouse friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husband George, and her sister Doris.  Survivors include 2 daughters, Diane (Jim) Rogalski and Ann (Aaron) Martel.  4 sons – Normand (Sue), Donald (Maureen), Robert (Debbie), Eugene (Sandi).  Her siblings, Denise (Richard) Manseau, Richard, Robert (Marie), Donald (Barbara).  She also has 15 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Per Jean's wishes there will be a "Celebration of Life" party.  It will be held at The Elks Club at 2 Church Street in Greenfield MA on Sunday, October 29th from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway Street, Greenfield, MA 01301.
