Turners Falls- Jean P. (Raycroft) Campbell, 91, of Fairway Ave passed away Monday 10/23/17 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.  She was born in North Adams on June 20, 1926, the daughter of Volney T. and Ester M. (Parsons) Raycroft. She was a graduate of Hoosac Tunnel Drury High School Class of 1944. 

Jean was a resident of Turners Falls for over sixty years.   She was a clerk at the Registry of Motor Vehicles for seventeen years until her retirement in 1990.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Turners Falls and was a member of the Catholic Women’s Council.  Jean enjoyed knitting and traveling.

Besides her husband  of 71 years, Maurice M. Campbell; two sons, John D. Campbell and his wife Deirdre of Turners Falls and Daniel R. Campbell and his wife Sandra of Northfield; a daughter,  Nancy J. Andreas and her husband James of Northfield; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jean was predeceased by two brothers, Franklin W. Raycroft and Philip Raycroft, and a sister, Helen Houghtaling.

A memorial mass will be held at a date and time to be announced.
