Henri V. Loiselle

Greenfield  -  Henri V. Loiselle, 80, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA.  He was born in West Warwick, RI on December 7, 1936, the son of Valmore and Robertine (Giguere) Loiselle.

Henri went to seminary school in Canada, and served as a Brother at the Provincial House at La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, MA for 21 years.  He left the order to marry his beloved wife, of 33 years, Lillian.  He was the office manager at Seekonk Supply in Rehoboth, MA, for many years before his retirement. Henri served in the Naval Reserves for 10 years.  Henri was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a volunteer for the Gun Owner’s Action League (G.O.A.L.).  He enjoyed politics and was an avid reader.

 

Besides his wife, Lillian C. (Poirier) Loiselle, Henri leaves two step-sons, Stephen Johnson and his wife, Lori of Oakdale, CT and David Johnson and his wife, Karen of Woodbine, MD; two step-daughters, Roxanne Johnson and her spouse, Angie Gregory of Fort Worth, TX and Lee Oldenburg and her husband, Bob of Greenfield, MA; two brothers, Ronald Loiselle of Coventry, RI and William Loiselle and his wife Gloria of Michigan; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 AM at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA with the Rev. Armand Proulx officiating.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. 

 

There will be no calling hours.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Western Massachusetts Hospital, In Memory of Henri Loiselle - Huntington’s  Unit, 91 East Mountain Road, Westfield, MA  01085.
