Edna A. (Lapine) Kuzontkoski

Ware- Edna Alice (Lapine) Kuzontkoski, 85, of Mattson Boulevard died Sunday 4/15/18 at the Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer.  She was born in Greenfield on September 18, 1932, the daughter of Charles H. and Marion (Hulbert) Lapine.

She attended Frontier High School. She worked on the family farm alongside her husband and was a clerk for many years at several local stores.     

She enjoyed baking and gardening.  She loved to learn new things and was an avid reader. 

Among her survivors, Edna leaves a daughter, Mary Kuzontkoski of Greenfield; a daughter Francine Reipold and her husband David of Ware; a daughter in law, Jane Kuzontkoski of Bernardston; a brother, William Lapine and his wife Betty of Northfield; two brothers in law, Carl Kuzontkoski of Hatfield and Charles Gamache of Greenfield; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Edna was predeceased by her husband Walter P Kuzontkoski and two sons Walter C and Stephen L Kuzontkoski.

A calling hour will be held Friday morning April 20th from 8:45am-9:45am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls followed by a memorial mass at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh Street, Turners Falls.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Turners Falls.
