Montague-- Duane D. (Paulin) Cloutier, 80 of 2 Laurel Lane went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday (12-16-2017) at home, with her son Kevin Miller by her side. She was the daughter of Omer J Paulin and Irene M (Allian) Paulin, formerly of Montague City.
Duane retired from the University of Massachusetts and enjoyed being home. She enjoyed cooking, catering and entertaining. She loved spending time with her grandchildren whenever possible. She also loved to talk about her adventures of meeting Elvis and when she worked at KTLA studios in California.
At home, she enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and watching the occasional bear go through the yard! Country music was her favorite but she also loved Hawaiian music too!
She was predeceased by her husband Leo Cloutier in 2016.
Besides her son Kevin Miller, she leaves behind her daughter, Paula Silva and husband Peter; her beloved grandchildren, Miranda, Maurice and Mya Silva all of Simpsonville SC.
Duane also leaves her brother, Francis Paulin and his wife Brenda of St Johnsbury, VT; nephew Peter Paulin and his family of Pinedale, WY; and stepchildren, Phyllis Orr of Schertz, TX and Robert Cloutier of Greenfield MA.
A celebration of her life will be in the warmer weather at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank Life Path services especially, Linda Micka for all her help; Triad, Hospice and Victory home care and the staff that also helped Duane be at home. A sincere thank you to all! Her wishes were fulfilled!
