David J. “Hessler” Dresser ( 1958-2017)

Northampton, MA- David J Dresser a resident of Northfield MA died at High View Nursing Home, Friday April 28, 2017.

He was born on October 30, 1958.

David attended Turners Falls High School where he was on the football team and implemented the first soccer kicking style. After High School he bought an apartment building and the Bridge Cafe in downtown Turners Falls. David owned and ran the Bridge Cafe where he served up drinks for his friends new and old. He was an avid athlete and was ranked  #7  ( amateur) in the state of Massachusetts for Golf.  He would participate in the downhill soap box races at Berkshire East ski resort and won several times. David was a motorcycle aficionado and especially loved working on and riding his Harley. David also loved dogs. He adopted and cared for many rescue dogs in his lifetime. The dogs were his constant companion whom walked with him daily in the forest behind his home. 

 He leaves his children, Dylan Dresser of Northampton, MA and Kelly Dresser of Chicopee, MA. He leaves his mother, Janet Dresser of Miami, FL.  He leaves a sister, Sharon Dresser of  Miami, FL and sister and brother in law Lori and Bernard “Ray” Baronas Jr of South Deerfield, MA.  He leaves a nephew, Justin and Amy Baronas and a niece Megan (Baronas) and TJ Tudryn. He leaves behind great nieces, Grace and Ava Baronas and Annalia and Kayla Tudryn.
