Chuck attended Greenfield Schools, graduating from the Greenfield High School class of 1971. He also attended Boston College.                      .

Chuck ran Greenfield Gutter for many years and was the owner of the former Superior Siding.

He was an avid boater spending much of his time on the waters of the Connecticut River in Gill. He was also the current Commodore of the Franklin County Boat Club where he dedicated his heart and soul into playing a instrumental role in making the boat club what it is today. He founded the Christmas in July celebration (including the boat parade and fireworks) at the club in 2003, which is enjoyed by countless members of the club, neighbors and the surrounding communities. He also played a major role in designing & implementing the beautiful clubhouse its members are enjoying today. Chuck also enjoyed camping, vacations, music (especially The Beatles), cooking for club functions and family & friends (with delicious chili being his specialty). He loved relaxing by Friday night fires at the club, Patriots games, and competitive cribbage games (especially with his good friend, Chris , who we know he is playing cribbage with again in heaven.)                         .
