Turners Falls- Charity E. (Eddy) Lehman, 89, of Millers Falls Road died Tuesday 11/6 /18 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was born in Erving on November 3, 1929, the daughter of William F. and Esther F. (Bourbeau) Eddy.
Charity, along with her husband John, ran the Survival Center in Turners Falls for many years.
Among her survivors, Charity leaves a son, John A. Drozdowski and his wife Irene of Athol; a daughter, Janice L. Drozdowski and her fiancé Carl Johnson of Turners Falls; ten grandchildren, Adam Drozdowski, Briana Newton, Andrew Newton, Alexa Daigle, Katie Burgin and her husband Chris, Angela Hachey, Robert Blamey Misty Faccadio, Crystal Blamey and David Blamey; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Charity was predeceased by her husband, John Lehman; her daughter, Carol Ann Hachey; and two sisters, Irene Sobieski and Florence Whitmore.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11/13 at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Erving.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning from 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
