Greenfield- Brett D. Jamieson, 46, of Woodleigh Ave died Thursday 1/18/18 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 11, 1971, the son of Stuart and Mary (Yorke) Jamieson. He attended local schools and was a graduate of the Franklin County Technical School Culinary Arts Program in 1989, where he created a special bond with his teacher, Norman Charet. Many would say that Brett was Mr. C’s favorite.
Brett was a produce expert at BJ’s Wholesale in Greenfield.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool. He enjoyed the outdoors, including spending quiet time at Poet’s Seat Tower. Brett was a fanatic of the New England Patriots, never missing a game. Nothing deflated the love of his team. Brett also loved rooting for the New York Yankees and against all of his Red Sox friends. He enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts. He also loved attending car shows at Kringle Candle and other locations; Most of all, Brett loved life to the fullest. He adored his girls and cherished his family and friendships.
Among his survivors, Brett leaves his fiancé, Colleen Ferris and their two children, Korrina and Brooklyn Jamieson; two brothers, Bill Jamieson and Robert Howe, both of Greenfield; a sister, Maryellen Fluet; an aunt, Kathy DeMello of Greenfield; and uncle, William Yorke of Brooklyn, NY; a loving cousin Jeanine Viencek and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday 2/2 at 2pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
