Ann Marie Sullivan

Greenfield- Ann Marie (Wolcott) Sullivan died at 90 years of age on September 23, 2018 at The Homestead in Cushing, Maine.  Ann Marie was born in Montague on December 21, 1927, to Olga (Stevens) Wolcott and Theodore B Wolcott. She grew up in Greenfield, but loved spending summers at camp in Vermont and on Monhegan Island in Maine with her parents and grandmother. She graduated in 1947 from Stoneleigh- Prospect School (now Stoneleigh Burnham School). During her time at Stoneleigh she participated in many operettas. After graduation, she began working at C H Demond Company in Greenfield where she met her future husband Michael P. Sullivan.

Ann Marie and Mike were married on September 8, 1951 at Holy Trinity Church. Settling in Greenfield, Ann Marie began work at the Victoria Theater becoming Assistant Manager. Their daughter Sally Marie was born in November of 1959. Ann Marie was a homemaker, wife and mother for the remainder of her life. She happily spent summers on Monhegan Island in Maine where she was Vice-President of the Monhegan Museum and generally involved in the place where her grandparents and mother had lived. When Mike retired in the 1980’s they spent up to 6 months on the Island visiting with friends and family.

Ann Marie was predeceased by her parents. She and Mike were married for 63 years when he passed in July of 2014. Also predeceasing her were her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eileen and Leon Terrill. Most recently she lost her beloved grand dog, Buster. She is survived by her daughter, Sally and son-in-law Stephen Andrews. She also leaves her niece, Eileen Terrill and husband Daniel Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 28, 2018 at 10am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Green River Cemetery in Greenfield.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
