Greenfield- Sharmon (Page) Power, 48,  passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield after a long battle with alcoholism. 

Sharmon was born on November 12, 1968 in Turners Falls.  She attended Franklin County Technical School, graduating in 1986 from the Culinary Arts program.  She was an avid animal lover and loved her four cats very much.  She was also a lover of all types of music.  She enjoyed attending concerts, as well as listening in the comfort of her own home. 

Sharmon leaves behind her mother, Sue Wickline and her partner Lisa Turner; her husband of 17 years, Allan Bland; a daughter, Kayla Power and a grandson, Cayden.  She also leaves her 11 sisters, Sandra Page and her partner Randy Stoudt of Altamonte Springs, FL; Shari and Tim Birks of Turners Falls; Tory and Sam Decker of Turners Falls; Jen Bond and her husband Bill Shire of Durango, CO; Donna Curtis of Vermont; Michelle Gould of Vermont; Barbara Potts of Greenfield; Kathy Middleton of Greenfield; Brenda and Danny Shepard of Arizona; Gloria and John Middleton of Greenfield; and Judy and George Armstrong of Sunderland; as well as 3 brothers, Sherwin Jr. and Renee of New Hampshire; Chuck of Chicopee; and Jimmy and Donna of Greenfield.  She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private memorial service.  There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Sharmon’s memory by purchasing a meal for a homeless person.
