Welcome to the memorial page for

Pamela (Lenois) Benton

October 20, 2016

North Port, FL- Pamela J. (Lenois) Benton, 71, died Thursday 10/20/16 at home.  She was born in Greenfield, Ma on July 7, 1945, the daughter of Ralph and Ernestine (Welcome) Lenois.

She graduated from Turners Falls High School (Turners Falls Ma) in 1963 where she was a cheerleader for various sports.

Pam was an administrative assistant for the State of New Hampshire.  She was also a unit sales manager for Tupperware for over twenty years, where she met many wonderful people.  It was a career she thoroughly enjoyed.

Pam was her grandchildren's number one fan at their activities.  She loved sports of all kinds, especially her beloved Red Sox and Patriots.  She had an outgoing personality and loved meeting people and socializing.  She loved spending time with family and good friends.

One of Pam’s favorite pastimes was spending time by the pool or at the beach.  She loved the beaches in Maine and on Florida's Gulf Coast where she enjoyed searching for unique sea shells and sharks teeth. She recently realized her dream to live in the Sunshine State where the days are warm year round and she could be a "Beach Bum" - as she put it.

Pam was active in the VFW.

Among her survivors, Pam leaves a son, Todd Haywood and his former wife Cynthia; two daughters, Kellie Haywood-Minery and her husband Christopher, and Kati-Lee Benton;  a brother, Ronald Lenois, Sr.; two sisters, Cindy Kalinowski and Sharon Girard; eight grandchildren, Brennan, Spencer and Connor Haywood, Brooke Benton-Sweeney, Emily, Carter and Brady Haywood-Minery and Trevor Norris; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Pam was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Linda Lenois.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10/29 at 12 noon at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Sq. Turners Falls Ma.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
