WARWICK — Lucinda R. (Potts) Seago, 42, of Richmond Road died Saturday (3-4-17) at home as a result of a house fire.
She was born on January 16, 1975 just north of San Francisco, CA, the daughter of David and Melida (Obando) Potts. Lucinda graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Biochemistry. She obtained her Nursing degree from Mount Wachusett Community College.
She was a nurse at the Farren Care Center, a tutor at Mount Wachusett Community College and a member of the Warwick Board of Health.
Lucinda enjoyed reading, knitting, hiking and was a Benedictine Oblate associated with St. Benedict Abbey.
Among her survivors, Lucinda leaves her husband Scott Seago; a daughter, Vivian Seago; her parents, David and Melida Potts, her sister Susan James and her husband John, a niece, Adriana James, her grandfather, Nicolas Obando, all of Atlanta, GA; her in-laws, Robert and Carol Seago of Houston, TX and several aunts and uncles on both sides of her family.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 3/11 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls with the Abbott Xavier Connelly celebrant and the Rev. Sean O’Mannion as homilist.
Burial will follow at the parish cemetery in Turners Falls.
A reception will be held after services at the cemetery at 12:30 p.m. at the Warwick Community School, 41 Winchester Road, Warwick.
Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.
