Linda E. Lenois

Turners Falls - Linda E. (Blanden) Lenois, 71, of Coolidge Ave died Sunday 9/25/16 at the Buckley Health Care Center in Greenfield.  She was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 15, 1945, the daughter of Carroll and Elenora (Martin) Blanden.  Linda attended local schools in Topeka and was a graduate of Topeka West High School Class of 1963.  She was a member of the school yearbook and newspaper staff; along with doing synchronized swimming.

Linda was a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company in Greenfield MA for many years until her retirement.  Her hobbies were quilting, cross-stitching, and scrapbooking.  Linda loved trips to Hampton Beach and Port St. Lucie, FL.  She enjoyed keeping score of her grandsons’ baseball games, watching their hockey games, or other sporting events.

Besides her beloved husband of 51 years, Ronald Sr., Linda leaves two sons, Ronald Jr. and his wife Edie of Greenfield and Darren and his wife Katie of Montague; her mother, Elenora Blanden of Topeka, KS; a sister, Sharon Lantis and her husband Larry of Topeka, KS; five grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Derek, and Daniel Lenois and Vanessa Process and her husband John; a great grandson, Ethan Process; and several nieces and nephews.  Linda also leaves her friends of many years, Jean, Doris, Sandy, and many others.

Linda was predeceased by her father, Carroll Blanden.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 10/1/16 at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 90 Seventh Street, Turners Falls with the Rev. Stanley Aksamit officiating.  Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Turners Falls.

A calling hour will be held from 8:30am-9:30am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either: National Multiple Sclerosis Society, MA, 101A First Ave, Waltham, MA 02451; Franklin County Hockey Association, P.O. Box 411, Greenfield, MA 01302; or Newt Guilbault League, P.O. Box 189, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
