Lacy Cardaropoli Obituary

Northfield- Lacy Jane Cardaropoli, 27, of Northfield, Mass.

Lacy passed on March 7, 2018 with her beloved Brian Downes and her family by her side at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. Lacy was born February 18, 1991, the cherished daughter of Thomas Cardaropoli and Marilyn Wickline-Ellsworth.

Growing up Lacy’s beauty was magnified by her kind and generous heart. She was curious and engaging. She made friends everywhere she went.  Life with her was adventurous and fun, Lacy built many memories with friends and family. She was a friend that a friend would like to have. People often spoke of her kindness, generosity, caring nature, and big heart.

Lacy graduated from Turners Falls High School class of 2009. Working as a waitress and bartender in the Greenfield area, Lacy is remembered fondly by customers, many of whom became friends. Lacy obtained her CNA and worked at the Farren Care Center and in homecare. She loved helping others and took pride in her work. Most recently Lacy was employed at Franklin First Credit Union. She enjoyed the new challenge and grew within the company.

What Lacy was most proud of in her life was her daughter Isabella Marie Allen that she shared with Kyle Allen. The joy and pride of being Izzy’s momma radiated from Lacy. The love and strong bond between this mother and daughter cannot be described in words. She loved hearing the sound of laughter coming from Izzy as she ran around in the backyard, making memories in the new home they shared with Brian. She was happiest by his side as they built a beautiful life together. She enjoyed spending time outside with an open book in hand, listening to music, or grilling on the deck.

Among her survivors, Lacy leaves her beloved daughter, Isabella M. Allen; her father, Thomas Cardaropoli and his partner Patty Anne of Greenfield; her mother, Marilyn Wickline-Ellsworth of Greenfield; three brothers, Thomas Cardaropoli, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Anthony Wickline of Greenfield and Kyle Cardaropoli and his wife Kaitlin of Leyden; her paternal grandfather, Paul Cardaropoli, Sr., of Greenfield; two nephews, Uriah and Zander; her significant other, Brian Downes of Northfield; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
