Brattleboro, VT-------Kevin James Howard, 61, of Pine Heights at Brattleboro, VT., passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5th, 2018.

Kevin was born in Manchester, Connecticut on January 31st, 1956. He enjoyed painting, bird watching, playing cards & cribbage.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lauren & Pauline (Robie) Howard and a brother, Charles R. Howard.

Kevin is survived by two brothers, Norman (Ann Marie) Howard, Lauren (Brenda) Howard, a sister Bonnie Howard, several nieces and nephews, other family and friends, and a special niece Shasta who assisted in his care during the final stages.

Shasta wishes to extend her gratefulness to the Pine Heights of Brattleboro staff for the many years of care they provided to her Uncle.

A graveside service will be held on Sat., May 19th at 1pm at Center Cemetery in Bernardston.

Arrangements are being handled by Kostanski Funeral Home in Greenfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kostanski Funeral 220 Federal St., Greenfield, MA  01302 to assist with funeral expenses.
