Greenfield----Jessie F. (Zachlowski) Gamelin of 54 High St. died Wednesday (3-22-17) at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility.

She was born in Greenfield the daughter of Walter and Doninica (Parda) Zachlowski.

Jessie attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School.

She was a former member of the Greenfield Emblem Club and volunteered at Frankilin Medical Center.

Jessie worked for the former A & P grocery store for 20 years retiring as deli manager.                                                            

Jessie leaves her children Rick Gamelin of North Fort Myers Fl., Steven Gamelin and his wife Heidi of Canterbury, CT, and Susan Bergeron of Groton, Ct- Grandsons Jason Bergeron, Patrick Gamelin and his wife Kiely, and Paul Gamelin- Granddaughters Jennifer Kruzlic and her husband Brian and Emily Vickers and her husband Jeff- Great grandchildren Nicolas Kruzlic, Fiona and Cole Gamelin, Aubrey Gamelin and Betsy Vickers and several nieces and nephews.

She was  predeceased by her husband Edmund of 59 years June 15, 2007, her parents Walter and Doninica, three sisters, Stella Peterson, Jennie Kownacki and Helen Hoynoski and one brother Chet.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held  Monday 3-27-17 at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorsa Cemetery. A calling hour will be held  8:45am to 9:45am at Kostanski Funeral Home 220 Federal St. Greenfield, MA 01301.
