Greenfield- Jean P. (Paruszewski) Kempf, 75, of Little Ave died Wednesday 8/2/17 at home.  She was born in Key West, FL on September 26, 1941, the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Galvin) Paruszewski.  Jean was a graduate of Holyoke High School. 

She was a receptionist at Dr. Mullin’s office in Greenfield.  Prior to that, Jean worked in the claims department at Phoenix Mutual for many years.

Jean liked to donate to various charities and local programs.  She was an active member of the Ladies of the Elks in Greenfield, and helped to organize presents for local children and families at Christmastime.  Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, and especially loved seeing her grandchildren grow up.  She will be greatly missed.

Among her survivors, Jean leaves two sons, Matthew Kempf and his wife Dawn, and David Kempf, all of Greenfield; a sister, Rita Dietrich and her husband Don of Belchertown; a sister-in-law, Judie Carpenteri of East Lyme, CT; three grandchildren, Daniel, Carlie and Breanna Kempf; and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her brother, Michael Paruszewski.

Funeral services will be held Monday 8/7 at 9:15am from the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main Street, Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield. 

Calling hours will be held Sunday evening from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
