Millers Falls- Ida Marjorie Kruckmann, 96, formerly of Millers Falls died Tuesday 9/27/16 at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 14, 1920 the daughter of Fred and Ida (Koller) Kruckmann.  She worked in a law office in New York for forty one years.  After her retirement in 1981, Ida moved to Millers Falls, then to Turners Falls in 2005 before becoming a resident of Charlene Manor in 2014.

She enjoyed traveling, birds, animals, photography, word puzzles and being with her friends.  Ida was an avid Red Sox fan.  She also enjoyed attending services at Calvary Baptist Church in Turners Falls.

Survivors include several grand nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls with the Rev. Dan Johnson, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls.

A calling hour will be on Wednesday (10-05-2016) from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 163 Montague Road, Leverett, MA 01034.
