Turners Falls------Frazer “Butch” H. Bushey, 62, of K St. died Wednesday (1-10-18) at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born January 31, 1955 in Northampton the son of Frazer and Mary (Galpin) Bushey.

Butch graduated from Northampton High School. He was an electrician for the Disston Company for over 25 years.

He was a member of St. Kaz and Thomas Memorial Golf Club where he enjoyed golfing with his wife and many friends.  Butch was an avid Partiots fan.

He married the former Susan Cormie February 24, 1984. They would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this February.

Butch leaves his wife Susan, his mother Mary Sweeney of Florence, his sisters Renee Duffy and her husband Jim of Florence, Kelly Brown and her husband Mike of Chesterfield and his brothers Michael and Walter Sweeney of Florence and his brother in-law Chip Cormie and his wife Sharlene of Turners Falls and sister in-law Elaine Barnard and her husband Paul of Montague and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Frazer Sr., step father Walter Sweeney, grandmother Marion Galpin and niece Mara Cormie.

A memorial service will be held Friday January 19, 2018 at 12 noon at Kostanski Funeral Home 1 Kostanski Square. Burial will be in the spring in Springdale Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 AM until time of service.
