and Dorothy (Johnson) Adams. She attended local public schools
and graduated from North Penn High School (now Southern Tioga
School District) in June 1978. She attended Williamsport Area

worked some years as a dental hygienist in Pennsylvania, later in
Massachusetts. She graduated in May 1987 with a B.A. in
sociology, cum laude, from North Adams State College (now
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts). In February 1994 she
graduated with an M.P.H. from the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst, with a concentration in community health and education.
For many years immediately preceding her passing she worked as a
general dental hygienist and office manager for Daniel Cohen,
DMD, in Turners Falls.
Donna is survived by her son, Taylor Hall, and her husband of six
years, Raymond P. Quinones, Jr. She is also survived by three
brothers, William, Dan, and Justin; two sisters, Janet McNeal and
Barbara Miller; and nine nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Gene
and Patrick, and her first husband, Kenneth Hall, predeceased
her.
Donna had many interests and passions. Prominent among them were
music, travel, cookery, reading, and local and national animal
welfare organizations, to which she donated generously. Her son
Taylor remembers especially her warm-heartedness towards her
extended family and many friends and her gift for making “you
feel as though you were the most amazing person in the world.”
A memorial service will be held in January. Memorial donations
may be made to The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, P.O. Box
160, Hatfield, MA 01038, or to the Friends of the Franklin County
