David Fitz Obituary

Greenfield-----David Fitz, 73, of Adams Rd. died Wednesday (2-7-18) at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by his loving family.

David served in the Army National Guard from 1965-1971. After the National Guard he drove for Coca-Cola. David enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, trips to the Fryeburg Fair with friends, going to the beach with Liz and spending time with his family. He also took great pride in his home, mowing and taking care of his lawn were a high priority. He also enjoyed watching all of the wildlife around his home, especially the birds which he fed daily. David was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Although he would have surely turned off the TV during the last Superbowl game.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, David his survived by his daughter Heather Renaud and her husband Troy of Greenfield and by his grandsons, William and Caleb, who brought him so much joy.

David is also survived by his brother and his wife, Bernard and Ruth Mann: nephews Scott Blewett (Pam), Todd Blewett (Eileen) and a niece Pamela Sanborn (Lew) all of CT; in-laws Mary and Dick Sonosky and Susan and Allan Toczko of NH. He was predeceased by his sister Sally Blewett and her husband Edward and his mother in-law Stacia DeMeo.
