Greenfield----Beverly M. (Thompson) Currier, 81, formerly of Turners Falls died Wednesday (5-24-17) at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility.

She was born in Montague January 19, 1936 the daughter of John and Lillian (Giguere) Thompson.

Bev attended local schools and graduated from Turners Falls High School class of 1953. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and knitting.

Bev leaves her children: Lori Walsh and her husband Allen of Wendell, Nancy Farrick and her husband David of Wilson, NC, Leonard Currier and his wife Charyl of Turners Falls, Daniel Currier and his wife Tawny of Montague and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Walter Thompson of Greenfield and her sisters, Margaret Bates of Turners Falls, Helen Momaney of CA, Jean Bonzek of Endicott, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Bev was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 1974.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 9^th at 10am at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Turners Falls with Rev. Stanley J. Aksamit, officiating.

A reception will follow at French King Restaurant in Erving.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society P.O. Box 4527 New York, NY 10163.
